Great performance for a gaming rig. The main reason why I purchased this ram was that I was building a gaming rig using the NH-C14. The NH-C14 typically causes problems with RAM and the biggest selling point to me was this ram is fairly low-profile.The timings are pretty good. I could care less about the LEDs, but we all know that blinking lights make things go faster. Otherwise, no problems at all.I also really like the no-frills packaging. Since it's going in the recycling bin anyway, Crucial didn't spend much on the packaging.As well, the name of the ram is Ballistix which is spelt incorrectly. This automatically makes it 1337 gaming gear.Anyway, I recommend this RAM if you need low profile memory. Otherwise, I would go for a cheaper brand if height is not an issue. |

For looks and aestheitcs, you can get any better than this ram. If your case has a windows and you cna see clearly into the ram bays, this will light up the whole thing and make it look awesomeThe downside is that it will cost one and a half times more than general gaming ram, and its harder to find because its constantly going out of stockAlso the ballistix MOD software does not come with it, and no link is provided in the packaging. You need to do a search for it.All in all, if you;re willing to shell the cash for awesome aesthetics, then its totally worth it |
