I dunno It messed up my personal computer! I've upgraded and installed memory modules in all the computers i have previously owned and under no circumstances have had a dilemma. Every thing has been flawless, until now. I not too long ago purchased a new HP slimline computer and decided to up my multitasking power by purchasing this memory. Immediately after installing both modules the laptop or computer wouldn't begin and it just kept beeping. I tried installing just 1ƑG), nonetheless no dice. I reinstalled my oem back which is a samsung 512 and now I can't even start out it in safe mode! Simple Insallation, and runs like a CHAMP! NONE! I purchased this memory to upgrade my computer from 512MB to 2GIG's of memory. It's, you know, RAM... it does it's job without having incident =) I guess it's not the fastest stuff on the block, but it runs at its rated speed with out situation, so if its the proper RAM for your system (as it is mine), that's not _truly_ considerably of a con. An superb up-grade for a Dell E310 laptop or computer. Originally came with 5112 mb of memory from Dell. Was barely functioning with Windows Media Center OS. Reformatted the entire box with a fresh non-Dell Windows Media Center OS and installed the memory afterward. Installed one particular stick at at a time.
