Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:Absolutely none.

Pros:Flawless install. Fast. Just works!
Comment:
After having issues with a couple of brand new OCZ Vertex drives - dead, intermittent, blue screens - I decided to go with a different brand and controller and haven't looked back. Running the drive in an old Inspiron 6400 and it flies! Swapped out the drives. Installed Win 7. That's it. Painless and simple. This definitely won't be the last Crucial drive I buy.

Love this drive, upgraded from a Kingston 64 gig 3Gbps, not a huge difference, but noticeable in some places. Drive is a perfect size for me, since all I use it for is Windows 7 and Starcraft 2

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:- None so far, hopefully it lasts a long time

Pros:- Super fast!- Small, cool running
Comment:
I took the plunge and bought one as a boot drive for my new PC build. I absolutely love it! so happy I went to SSD and so happy I went with Crucial after reading so many nightmare stories with the other brands. This thing is solid, easy install, no problems at all and windows is up and running in no time from boot up. Only thing I wish these came down in price for the storage size. If you have the budget seriosuly consider a 128gb from Crucial for your games or important programs. I still have lots of room after windows 7 install with common programs and updates but I dont want to fill it up.

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:SSD's still a bit pricey compared to HDD64GB write performance is only ~90mb/s for a single drive, ~180mb/s in my raid0 (most operations are read though in windows 7)

Pros:Came with Firmware 0009Setup in Raid0 on ICH10R with No ProblemsSata2 performance on Raid0 = 550mb/s (limited by sata2 bus speed, sata 3 should hit ~1000mb/sRandom Access time, boot up, and loading much faster
Comment:
One of the best SSD's on the market for Raid0,The internal firmware handles GC(Garbage collection) independently of TRIM ( Trim Doesn't working with Raid0) and does a good job keeping the drive in performance mode. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-02-11 09:26 AM

I have already 2*64gb C300 and needed a third to replace an old raptor.Patched to 0009 when received, this unit work w/o any hassles and CrystalDiskMark bench nearly totally destroy the C300.My only complaint is that i missed the rebate, but it's not really a complaint about the product itself :)My next SSD purchases will be Crucial for sure !

Comment:
Pm'd this drive for $100.00. At roughly $1.56/gb,its a great deal.I've been on the fence regarding a ssd ever since they came out.Reliability is far more important to me than speed. Crucial has had their fair share of bad times with ssd's, but they've persevered and I believe this drive represents their efforts. The new firmware is worth it and is a snap with the bootable image.I still run xp on a pretty old board. (Sata 3gbps)The first time I aligned the partition using G-parted. I guess I forgot to click a box or something, but it didn't work. The second time I used Paragon Alignment Tool and got a 2mb offset. Having the drive aligned properly made a big difference on write speeds, especially 4k. Way less stress on the drive when writing. After the drive idled for the night, I got following numbers using CDM 3.0.1:Reads: Seq 270.1 512 252.9 4k 28.05 4kqd32 133.9Writes:Seq 97.24 512 97.56 4k 61.98 4kqd32 84.69While reinstalling, searching for stuff on the net, and downloading updates in the background, speeds only decreased about 3-5% from these scores which are the best so far. I made a few tweaks to xp like turning off indexing and system restore.but left everything else alone. Its strictly a boot drive and I don't anticipate having any more than 20gb on it leaving lotsof free space for wear levelling. (Now its really expensive)Low capacity drives never give you the performance of their big brothers, but the m464 isn't as crippled as most. Writestake the biggest hits so the 128gb model would be a better buy as you're paying double for double the capacity plus the extra performance you get from a larger drive. All up, a fantastic small capacity ssd if you can get it for $100.00. Highly recommended.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. Got this to replace my OCZ Solid 120GB. This is simply reliable: no BSOD or freezes. Crucial has won my heart over OCZ. I'm so happy with this product I got the 128GB as well. I'll gladly pay more for this over any SF based SSDs.

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:To update  firmware you need to burn a CD and go into BIOS.

Pros:Lightning Fast, No problems encountered so far
Comment:
This is one of the greatest SSD out on the market, with great benchmarks for read and write times. You will not be bottlenecked with this device, especially if you use it to run games (almost instant load times for everything).I plan on buying a second one and RAID 0 the two for a really quick boot time, but be careful for anyone doing this: there is no TRIM support, so you have to use another method of garbage collection.

Very good SSD. I'm using it on SATA II for now, but so much difference from my old 250gb for OS.The only thing I'm not sure, people are having good benchmark of HDTune read, mine got like 150-160mb/s (SATA 2 I know but someone with SATA2 get 260mb/s), while other benchmark gives me 240. Anyway this drive is awesome. Bought it in special, and if not in special, I would buy again!

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:- No 3.5" bracket but since I have a Corsair 800D case I don't need it at all.

Pros:- By far the best price/perf ratio of all small SSD!- No hasardous SandForce controller that constantly need firmware updates and will die in 20 days if you use Hibernate/S3 Sleep and who knows what other random reasons too.- Crazy fast read speed! Up to 450Mb/sec! Look at my bench picture on the link below. Writes are up to 105 but the system do much more reads than writes anyway.- 3 Years Warrenty, not just 1.- Supports Sata-III !- 64Gb when most other companies offer 60 only. With 64, once formated in Windows you'll get 60Gb exactly.
Comment:
I bought last month a OCZ Vertex 2 60Gb here at 114$ and it died 20 days later even with the latest firmware because it appears OCZ drive don't like Intel + Hibernate and/or S3 Sleep but no one at OCZ dare to warn its customers so what a nice suprise I had when I was playing Brink, then freeze, BSOD, reboot and drive no more recognized in any computer. I lost permanently everything that was on my desktop ******! I was happy however when I did the RMA to notice I could get for the SAME PRICE this Crucial drive that is wayyy better!http://uppix.net/d/2/3/d425e7d16b08b222cfb099ae317e2.html

Seems that some people are having freezing problems, but I have none. Easy installation and very fast! Huge difference in performance compared to my Samsung spinpoint 1TB.Installed on a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard with AHCI activated and clean install of Windows 7. Tweaked the settings and it's smooth sailing. Very happy with the drive. If I have any issues I will update  this review. For excellent tweaking tips, see here...http://www.overclock.net/ssd/929553-win-7-ssds-setup-secrets.html

PMed for 108.60$. This is th best 64GB SSD you can buy for the price. Read speed is underrated. ATTO disk benchmark shows up to 470mb/s on read and around 105mb/s on write. Windows 7 gives this drive a 7.9 rating. Highly Recommend.
