Cubitek Tattoo Fire ATX 5X5.25IN 5X3.5IN 2X2.5IN 2XUSB3.0 Case Black Internal Red No PSU
Cons:Cable management is not great (Holes are a little smallish and there aren't that many cable tie areas at the back)Fan LED's are weak
Pros:Feels sturdyLots of Tool-Less HDD baysStylish Comment:
Bought 2 of these cases for our internet gaming cafe. They look pretty good, not too over the top and fairly clean.Build quality feels surprisingly good for a cheap, unknown case. (At least unknown to me)The red LED's on the fans are very weak, but I did not expect them to brighten up the case. (Basically like CM R4 fans)The top fan is a little weird, it's placed under the plastic cover without screws. The second case I had, the fan would scratch against the metal of the case and make a lot of noise. Had to place a few rubber grommets (you could probably use anything) on the corners of the fan to create more space, works good now.I was actually very pleasantly surprised with this case. It is tool-less, has the bare minimums for cable management (this was enough for my systems, but I could see it being a problem), looks nice and clean with it's fairly large windowed side panel, and has a variety of front i/o ports. (2x USB 3.0, eSATA, etc. Even a mini-USB cable for your phone. Comes with a mini-USB to micro-USB adapter too!)The most surprising thing for me was the build quality. I've never heard of Cubitek before so I assumed I was just getting a cheap case with bend-y metals, sharp edges and cheap plastic. It's actually quite good.I would definitely recommend this case if you were on a tight budget and wanted something with a little flair. |
great deal for $40, heavy solid feel, convenient top usb port, nice design
