CyberPower Standby Series CP425SLG UPS Replaces existing model# CPS425SL
Cons:
At this price point none.
Pros: Great deal when on special. I love the low profile wall plug. Nice design able to lay down or stand vertical & light enough to mount under the desk. Comment:
I bought it on special (anywhere from 35-40 bucks) an use it for my router, modem, bluetooth gateway & cordless phone. For this use it is perfect and for the cost of a highend surge/powerbar it does that and do what it is meant to do - keep feeding the juice to what is plugged into it. |

CyberPower Standby Series CP425SLG UPS Replaces existing model# CPS425SL
Cons:
Not a lot of battery and only half the outlet are on the battery
Pros: Seem to do the job, not that pricey, 8 outlets Comment:
I am satisfied of the product, just be aware that half the outlet are on the battery the other half is only surge protected. With 8 outlets I'll be able to put everything on it. For me it's a power bar with a good protection I won't really use the ups it's only for electricity cut of a second. It was in special and not a lot more than a simple power bar that's why I got this and would recommend any one to do the same. |
Paid $40 on sale for this, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've got it protecting my networking equipment in my crawlspace (Asus router, modem, 8-port switch, external hdd), as well as a freezer on the non-battery side, and it has worked like a champ. The only quibble I had was when I tried to plug the central vac into the surge-only side and it would instantly pop the internal breaker.
