I have had one of these for a while now and cant use it enough, sometime it will crash but they do work well.I recommend this device! |
I bought this as a boxing day special to replace my old XBox1 with XBMC and to replace using my old Wii for Netflix. The product has been discontinued, and I knew that when I bought it.What I have found out though is Boxee pretty much gave up on this about a year ago. Many things have been not been updated in ages (Video Trailers, etc.) and have bugs. The basic Netflix, and playing media from my servers works well, but the applications side of Boxee is dead or dying. You will be relying on 3rd party repositories going forward.Boxee++, a user supported mod, fixes some things, and gets you shell access to the box, so some good things might come out of that.Navi-x support is spotty at best now a days. The heyday of Boxee is over. You are buying a dead product, but it is still worth the $99.
