I actually made an effort to try to find a switch made by a reputable brand name that was fanless and had some meager VLAN management functionality to it in case I needed that in the future. That's when I stumbled on this gem. And with a limited lifetime warranty, it was everything I could ask for.Works awesome. I know being fanless, you might think it gets real toasty, but in actual fact, I've had this thing on 24/7 since it was purchased and it merely gets warm to the touch.I can't say I've done any testing to see how much the "green" features have saved in power consumption, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have it.
