D-LINK DGS-1008G 8-PORT Unmanaged Gigabit Switch
Cons:Don't really like the new design.
Pros:D-Link switches are highly reliable. Comment:
I purchased this for my stereo in the living room so I can hook up the PS, Xbox and couple of computers. The colour is nice since it matches the rest of the stereo. I have the old model which I prefer because the are stackable. The only thing I did not like about the older unit was that they only came in white. If the news where stackable they would be great. They should make both types. All that said I will still purchase D-Link switches because they work great and I never had a problem with them. |

D-LINK DGS-1008G 8-PORT Unmanaged Gigabit Switch
Cons:-none
Pros:-nice design-8 gigabit ports-power saving features-small-runs cool Comment:
This switch is an excellent product and value. It's really nice for installation in a SMC because of its small size and relatively low heat production. I have always had great success (so far) with D-link products, and will continue to favour them. |
I've bought several of these for use at home and work. Not one has failed on me thus far. They look good, consume slightly less power than previous iterations, and put out very little heat.
