D-LINK DHP-501AV Powerline AV 500 Network Starter Kit Incl 2 Adapters
Cons:- Expensive at regular price.- Doesn't work in a powerbar but it's prolly the same for all powerline anyway.
Pros:- Very straight forward installation.- Very stable and fast speeds over Internet.- Price-matched to 80$. |

D-LINK DHP-501AV Powerline AV 500 Network Starter Kit Incl 2 Adapters
Cons:Did not get 500Mps
Pros:Plug-in-play, Easy set up. Comment:
Plug-in-play, Easy set up.Used to use RCA powerline adapters where running a wired connection was not feasible. One of adapters failed and could not find the replacement.Bought the DHP-501 kit and I am quite happy with the choice I made so far.The fast speed I got was around 150 Mps which is more than enough for me.This powerline has worked seamlessly no matter which router (D-Link and Linksys) |

D-LINK DHP-501AV Powerline AV 500 Network Starter Kit Incl 2 Adapters
Cons:None
Pros:Easy SetupCheap Comment:
Been using this for over a year now. My router/modem is downstairs and my PC is upstairs and WiFi signal was weak so I took a chance on these. They are working out well! No issues whatsoever. People with older houses might have power line behind their walls might experience issues. |

Do not buy this item. It doesn't work. We plugged it, and 5 hours after it stopped working. Completelt Unsatisfactory This review was modfied by poster @ 09-18-12 07:30 PM |
I bought this for my cosin because since he switched to ADSL from Cable, he couldn't use a wire since the new modem was too far away and no matter what type of wifi he'd uses... heck we even used the most expensive Asus 802.11AC wifi usb key and it would still drop often when downloading at high speed with Torrents but now with the powerline it doesn't drop anymore so that's much better and reliable than wifi.
