Works well with some support
Comment:
Attached to the router upstairs. When I combined with a range expander downstairs, it worked very well and we got a better signal than without the new antenna (the new antenna by itself did not make a difference and was slightly worse). There are times when the signal strength is low but we merely unplug the expander and plug it back in and signal strength is excellent. Aaah, the mysteries of connecting! |

Great Antenna
Comment:
Works like a charm. I added it to the D-link N router and between the higher bandwidth (compared to G) and longer range, I now have excellent access over the entire 3,400 sq. ft. home. I can easily stream Netflix content at a high definition level. |

does its job
Comment:
just bought 2 yesterday; one is hooked up to a DI-524 simply to allow placement of the antenna outside of the wiring closet; did not really notice any improvement in performance, perhaps not even quite as good as stock antenna?? no science here, just walking around with laptop and monitoring bars; other is hooked up to wireless card in a desktop; managed to improve from about 1 bar to between 3 and 4 (out of 5), but it took some fidgeting with antenna placement, but that's where the real value is in both cases; assuming rebate comes through, well worth the money |

GREAT ANTENNAS!!!!!
Comment:
Bought 2 antennas to boost signal strength from a D-Link DIR-615 wireless router that's located in basement. Wanted to do wireless network threw out home. Great antennas, easily installed. After installation, the signal had improved (originally 2 bar, now 5 bars solid threw out home 2700 sqft) the best $60.00 that i spent for my home computer network. Trust me and buy 2 of these if your system can hook up with. Just make sure you LOCK it up from others from jumping on to your network.. |

no complaints
Comment:
I bought this antenna to use with my wireless modem to connect to a laptop and a Samsung BD-P3600 wireless blu-ray player downstairs from my desktop computer. This is the first device of this type I've ever purchased, but it does exactly what I wanted - I get a 5-bar signal on both the laptop and the blu-ray. I haven't had the disconnect problems one of the other reviewers had - although I had a little trouble getting the modem codes to ''stick'' to the blu-ray at first. Now it all seems to work just fine. |

Slightly Better Signal but Problem Not Resolved
Comment:
Bought antenna to try to boost signal strength from a D-Link DIR-628 wireless router to a Samsung BD-P3600. Good quality device, easily installed. After installation, the signal was marginally improved (originally 1 bar, now 2 bars) on the Samsung configuration, but it continues to drop the signal when trying to stream Netflix. Movie stops playing and requires returning to the configuration screen on the Samsung and re-entry of the security code to re-establish connection. Can watch 10 to 15 minutes of a movie at most before failure. Pandora doesn't work at all. Have tried multiple frequencies and other configuration options on the router with no positive results. |

BEWARE
Comment:
I purchased two of these after reading the reviews and it is probably a good antenna, however, I am unable to use them at all. I bought them to increase my signal strength for my laptop (and one for a present), thinking I could just plug it in and I would get more bars, but it is only for a network router. The only option is to return them both and loose $25 in shipping charges and the 15% restocking fee, or keep them and try to re-sell them. I feel they are falsely advertised and the reviews were misleading. |

Worked Well out of the box
Comment:
The Antenna worked well. Just unscrew the old antenna and screw in the new one. Single did increase to one of the remote desktops, but not as much as I had hoped. Probably need to replace the USB receiver with a different one. |

Super Antenna
Comment:
Signal strength went up by 25 percent and quality doubled after mounting it high enough so cars driving by didn't interfear with the signal. Solid antenna, 5 foot cord, easy to wall mount and nice discount to half the price. Sweet. |

Excellent results for an excellent price
Comment:
My primary PC is over the garage in our bonus room and a long way from my son's bedroom where his PC is inside a enclosed computer desk. When I installed our wireless router he was only getting 2-3 bars. I ordered this D-Link antenna largely because I have a D-Link router and card but mostly because of the excellent price with the $20 rebate. As soon as I hooked it up my son's PC jumped to 5 full bars. This is the best $20 I have spent. The antenna is solid construction, easy to install and works great. |

Great buy
Comment:
I moved my router to the other end of the house for an ethernet connection to my DVR to enable DirecTV On-Demand. That required changing my desktop PC from an ethernet connection to wireless. Expecting problems, I bought one of these antennas in advance at a local store. Sure enough, even though it showed a signal level in the 60's, it couldn't even aquire an IP address from the router and it kept losing the signal. Hooked up this antenna to my wireless adapter in the PC and it connected immediately with a signal level in the upper 70's and link quality in the upper 80's to lower 90's and stable as a rock! I'm using a US Robotics router and adapter and they connect at 125 Mbps. I'm gonna go get another one of these jewels for my other desktop while they're only 20 bucks. What a deal! |

Great Antenna
Comment:
This antenna is great! I tried a different antenna before buying this one, and the other one did nothing for my signal strength. Since this one has the cord I was able to move it up a little higher up and go from poor signal strength to very good. I would buy this antenna over any other for indoor use. |

Good product, but know your issues
Comment:
Originally bought this product to boost the signal from my router. I had two computers in my home which had weak signals and would occasionally lose signal. I installed it on my router and saw little to no improvement, but later connected it to my network card on my computer and saw a very significant improvement. I now get 100% signal strength at my highest speed. If you decide to buy one to attach to your computer, be sure your network card has a detachable antennae. Mine did not, but I quickly found one at a great price here. I can also now see six other networks in my neighborhood which I never saw before. |

I went from two bars to four bars at 120 feet! Good job. |
This antenna did very little for my wireless area.
