This is exactly what I have been looking for. So solid on its performance. I purchased a few CAT6 cables to maximize its transfer rate among home computers. The connection stays at 1GB network. Data Transfer is fast. Supper Fast!

Pluged it in & hooked up cables, rebooted DSL modem, rebooted computer and NAS. Instant speed improvment. Great device. I'll get the 8 port next payday.

What more can you ask of a switch. I am using it in the office where I am out of ethernet outlets in that particular room. I installed a network printer and PC, and for over a month now, everything is working perfectly without any problems.

Not to belabor the point, but this is a switch. It is not a router or a hub, it is just as smart as it needs to be. It doesn't flood my net with undirected packets and it is not programmable. It is exactly what I wanted and it does it's job well. Plug it in and you have gigabit ethernet. Done.

Used when upgraded home network from 10baseT to 1000baseT. Massive improvement in performance without the slightest of issues. Even connected to my DSL modem without a problem.

Gigabit speed, jumbo frames, smallish size, green, cheap. If only my NAS could keep up...

Worked right away. No issues since. Using it as the home entertainment switch, powering the TV, PS3, XBOX and Cable Box from my router. Has never caused any weird behaviour. Never had to be reset and gets lots of use. If you're looking for a gigabit switch - I have no problems recommending this one.

I was very pleased with D-Link DIR 655 802.11N wireless rounter and equally pleased with this 5-port gigabit network switch to extend my network application.

Not sure how fast it is working but it does seem a little slower since I added this product when hooked up to my PS3. I bought this because I needed more ports in my living room and since I have cat6 and a gig ethernet router, I thought this would make a great addition and it has. Plugged in and it worked, did not have to det anything up.
