D-Link DKVM-4K 4-Port PS/2 KVM Switch
Cons:Poor signal quality at high resolutions, only 2 cable sets.

Pros:Simple, works great, no Power Supply
Comment:
Can't complain too much about this unit. It gets the job done, and has some nice convenience features. You can switch computers by using the button on the KVM itself, or you can push scroll-lock twice, then either an arrow key, or a number key that identifies the computer. You can even have the unit auto-scan your computers. It'd have been nice if you got all four sets of KVM cables that this unit can use, but I was able to buy the nGear cables inexpensively enough anyways. The only complaint I have about this unit is that I run my monitors at 1600x1200 h 85 Hz, and the KVM really degrades the signal quality at that high of a frequency. At 60 Hz the signal is much sharper, so on a flat panel it'd probably be okay, but on my CRTs that flickers too much. I don't think most people are going to be using a KVM on a system where they need high-resolution detailed graphics, but it's not going to help if video signal quality is important to you.

D-Link DKVM-4K 4-Port PS/2 KVM Switch
Cons:Only 2 cables included

Pros:Easy to use, small
Comment:
This KVM works very well. My only problem with it is that it only comes with 2 sets of cables. It IS a 4 port KVM, the other 2 sets of ports are on the opposite side from the picture.Switching between machines is easy (tap scroll lock twice then hit a number, 1, 2, 3 or 4), or you can use the button on the KVM itself. If you want to use all 4 ports, save yourself some shipping costs and time, and pick up two extra cables when you order this. The nGear ones (search for 7464) work great, and are cheap as well.

D-Link DKVM-4K 4-Port PS/2 KVM Switch
Cons:None that come to mind =)

Pros:- Hot swappable capability
Comment:
Aside from having to move things around a little because of the size of the workstation at my school, this KVM switch is ideal for anyone who needs to work with multiple machines but has space constraints which prohibit multiple monitors. It is very easy to set up, with complete plug and play compatibility. The cables provided with it are of good quality and good length. Great value compared to buying 4 monitors, keyboards, and mice, not to mention a huge amount of deskspace which is saved.
