I was excited by the possiblity of using my stereo to listen to my computer. But after installing the adapter cable the sound thru the stereo had an annoying hum in it. Tried changing inputs on stereo, turning down computer volume, moving cable... nothing seemed to take the hum from the stereo sound. Finally gave up and went out and purchased a good set of amplified speakers for my computer. The set of cables is now just setting in the closet!

I was so pumped to find this cable, however, the sound I get through to my receiver is kinda weak. I was playing my MP3 tracks, and it wasn't coming through loud. It might be the soundcard settings. Maybe it's time to upgrade the sound card. The cable seemed to be in good shape.

I bought this cable to connect my PC to my 65'' HDTV in addition to a DVI to HDMI cable. This is great....exactly what I needed. The sound is great when watching movies, videos, or listening to music from the PC.

I bought this here at TD some time ago, and I must say, it is one of my most surprisingly enjoyable purchases. This cable hooks up my PC to my old Sears stereo receiver/amplifier and two inexpensive speakers (all about 10 to 15 years old). The sound is awesome! I have a nice set of PC speakers with sub-woofer and they don't sound anywhere NEAR as good as my amp with this cable. Definitely a must for every stereo from this time on.
