Dell Ultrasharp U2410 24IN Widescreen LCD Monitor IPs 1920X1200 6MS 80000:1 DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort
Cons:- thick bezel- slightly uneven luminosity (according to Spyder3Elite) but not noticeable
Pros:- IPS monitor (wide gamut, wide viewing angles)- multi positional (tilt, swivel, pivot, height adjustment)- wide variety of inputs (DVI, Displayport, HDMI, D-SUB VGA, Component, Composite...in other words, virtually all of the possible inputs)- clean looks- extra features are a nice touch but unecessary IMO (USB hub, PIP mode) Comment:
This monitor is worth every penny. It comes well calibrated out of the box. After calibrating with the Spyder3Elite, it is even better. sRGB color space is very close to the standard. |

Dell Ultrasharp U2410 24IN Widescreen LCD Monitor IPs 1920X1200 6MS 80000:1 DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort
Cons:
None so far.
Pros: Color accuracy, price, ports! Comment:
Great IPS panel that support Adobe RGB color space! Is pretty hard to beat for the price! Tons of input ports!Great monitor for people that do photo editing on a budget. There are better monitor out there, but can't beat the price/performance ratio with this monitor... |
I already had one of these monitors that I ordered direct from Dell then seen how much NCIX had them on for and ordered two more. Excellent monitors for any photographer or even a gamer, I have not seen an issue with ghosting or dead pixels with any three.Currently using all three in an Eyefinity setup on Windows 7 Pro and powered by two ATi HD 7870's. They do put out some heat though when on for an extended period of time.
