Delta FFB1212EH-F00 Case Fan
Cons:VERY loud.
Pros:Moves A LOT of air. Comment:
This fan is a great fan for intaking and outtaking air but it's too loud for my liking. I had to turn my music louder than usual to hear it. My parents and siblings complained about the noise so I have since replaced it with the 120CFM delta. |

Cons:Lots of noise
Pros:Lots of power Comment:
This fan is really powerfull, great for my file server with quad core CPU and two dozens of HDDs. Keeps things cool but makes a lot of noise! This review was modfied by poster @ 11-24-08 09:26 PM |

Delta FFB1212EH-F00 Case Fan
Cons:LOUD!
Pros:Enthusiast's dream. Comment:
This is a great fan for the hearing impaired, as this fan produces way too much noise. However it does push tons of air, and that in turn creates more noise through grilles. Still, best fan I've had in a while. |

Delta FFB1212EH-F00 Case Fan
Cons:LOUD VERY, May cause loss of fingers or small children
Pros:LOTS OF AIR Comment:
Pretty much sums it up. This fan moves a Lot of air, and it does it at a high noise level. Also, there are not counter rotating blades as it looks. The rear "blades" are actually the supports of the frame, only they are shaped like blades, I guess the design is to stop the air from spining around, and forcing more to go straight. |
I had a lot of fun using these fans as paper shredders and use them in other kind of experiments. While plugging two in my home computer, which is in my bedroom, I quickly understood what 56.4DBA is. While holding one in my hands, it fallen on my carpet and literally destroyed it. While trying to pick it up, I've accidentally put a finger in the blades and surprisingly still have 5 today; a blade broke and flew away and I'm also surprised it didn't destroyed a wall.Hahah. In conclusion: exclusive use for servers in data centers or soundproof cabinets.
