It's simple look's clean has nice black matte finish to it. Works Great. Can't beat the Price for a new Floppy Drive. And they are still needed Example: Flashing a BIOS.

Did not do anything. Have yet to try for replacement or money back. Will be interesting how that will fly.

I purchased the Diablo floppy drive after a Sony drive purchased through Dell had failed to either read or write. No problems with installation, it reads the old floppies we wanted to search for old documents. Haven't been able to make it write but don't need to, and this could be a BIOS setting I haven't tracked down.

I purchased two of these FDD and when the arrived, both were absolutly trash. Both units were missing most of the pins for the FDD cable and did not work. This product is crap! I would never buy this product again, and it will cost me more to return them that they are worth. Shipping took forever to get here and I am completely dissatisfied with TigerDirects at this point. I have been a customer for more than 15 years, and now, I may find another source for my product needs.

I really like my Diablotech floppy drive. I am so glad they still make them because I have lots of pictures from my Sony FD4 on floppy. The camera is only 8 years old and in perfect condition. I love the camera and floppy disk storage. Sorry the technology is going away.

It's fairly quiet, and works as fast as a floppy can. It should come with data and power cables, or at least suggest what cables are required. I ordered the data cable, but didn't realize that the power connection didn't match anything in my computer. Had to pretty much guess what it needed and order that after the drive arrived. inconvenient, and a waste of time, but it's up and running now.

It's a floppy drive. Its black. Mine broke. This one works fine. What more can you say about a floppy drive?

I bought 2 of the drives. One was bad and I had to send it back. I am still having some problems, but am not sure at this point if the other drive is at fault.

This floppy seems to fill the bill for me. I got it for a new build. It has worked well so far. I know that these are used less than they used to be but I just didn't want to not have it on a new build.

Received quickly and function like floppy disk drives should. I expected them to work flawlessly in my 2 new computers and both do.

It looked good and fit in the space but Floppy drives need a Floppy Disk Drive motherboard connection. My motherboard did not have one. After much research I could not find an adapter from sata or usb to a floppy device. I sent it back and will buy a USB external floppy.

This item was packed pretty well in it's own box, but the large box in which it was placed with another item was not packed well at all. Only a little brown paper to help absorb the shocks! The drive did not quite fit into the slot at the front of the computer case, but not a big deal, I just left it recessed about 1/4 inch and it works OK.

What can be said about your typical three and a half inch (1,44 MB) floppy drive? At this point in the life of a normal computer user, they are really just something that you only need really rarely, but when you do need one, (a floppy drive) you had best really have a DIABLOTEK drive. Mine really works great!

i needed a floppy because my old 1.44 mb floppy gave up the ghost,dead as a doornail, it did last about 13 years so i complain not!this drive worked immediately after popping it in and rebooting,no problems since.it is cheap and it works;a beautiful combination.

It would read and write to disks already used, but would not format new disks. Had to send it back.

It does what it should just like every floppy I've ever used. You should always have a floppy, for special purposes. Mostly firmware oriented. I don't know how good it is because I don't use it often. I think I used it once to see if it would read a disk, it does. I've never seen a 1.44 floppy drive go bad so it's safe to give this device the full benefit of the doubt. The samsung floppy I had in the past seemed to operate faster but it's probably vista & or the mainboard, not the drive. What value and features do you expect? It's a floppy. The cheaper it is the better.

What can I say? I needed an "A" drive floppy to set up Raid function in my new comp. This unit performed as expected with no problems.
