Wish I knew I didn't really need this to transfer files. All the software I needed to transfer files comes in Windows 7 or is downloadable. I thought this would help, but I had to end up searching for all the files and settings I wanted to transfer. |

Why wouldn't you just use a network.

I understand that USB 2.0 should be faster, but a crossover cat 5 is less than $5 if you don't have a router. |

Poor performance

Not worth the price which was cheap. Poor performance probably due to almost complete lack of documentation. Ruined the recovery component of my new computer by downloading erroneous data onto the D segment of the hard drive! boo-hiss |
Never worked the way it was supposed to , falsh drive wroked better
