Cons:-the unit is quite bulky i have to plug it in upside down to not take up my entire outlet
Pros:-cheapest power line with 200mbps i could find-faster than wifi Comment:
at first i tried it with my laptop and i didn't connect i was so confused until i realized the drivers for my Ethernet controllers weren't installed wow.... how foolish of me. anyways once i got them installed i tested the speed the speed with speedtest. plugged directly into my router against power line amazingly the speed is near identical. However depending on power consumption power line might be a little slower on some runs. Still very happy, from my basement to the second floor my wifi was horrible. |
Will work with other brand powerline ethernet adapter if they are using the same protocol.
