Diamond MP700 HD Media Wonder MINI-MEDIA Player
Cons:None as of yet!
Pros:SO SMALL! Great price, easy to use and set up, versatile. Comment:
I got this today and had it set up and working within 5 mins of opening the package. Included in the box is the remote control, two sets of cables, RGB and basic audio/video rca's and the little video box. The actual video box is smaller than a deck of cards. If you can't work this thing then you must have a learning disability because it couldn't be easier. The price is also a big bonus, I got it for $30 bucks with a $10 mail in rebate bringing it to $20 bucks! There are only two slots in the front, one for a USB key (which will read a 16g memory key) and one for your sd cards. The main screen on your tv consists of menus labeled music, video, photos ect. and is easy to navigate. I am going to buy 2 more of these for sure, i know a lot of people that could use this since it can be used on older televisions that have the rca ports. Give it a shot, for the price you can't go wrong! |

Diamond MP700 HD Media Wonder MINI-MEDIA Player
Cons:About 10 to 20 percent NON-Compatible with "MAJORITY" formats. No "MKV" for instance. Remember there are SEVERAL codec flavours/versions of .AVI as well as the others! Don't lose the remote or the ENITRE unit becomes USELESS! Battery is NON STANDARD BIOS BATTERY, NOT Double or Triple AA/AAA!
Pros:CRAZY SMALL, PORTABLE, AND 720p HD WITH "MAJORITY" OF FORMATS!YOU'LL NEVER NEED ANOTHER DVD EVER AGAIN!! I HAVE MINE VELCRO'ED TO THE SIDE OF MY EXTERNAL 2TB DRIVE SO LOOKS LIKE A PIGGYBACK ADDON! FlASH DRIVES AND SDHC CARDS ARE $40 32GB OR LESS NOW! Comment:
This thing is SMALLER than a hockey puck! You can almost hide it with one hand, and definitely both! But that's when the CABLES and USB stick/SDHC stick out like a sore thumb! Front of unit has IR eye, the right side has the USB and SDHC, and the back has the power and 8th inch (think headphones) jacks for the tv! Was on sale and then $15 after rebate, so that makes it SUPER DIRT CHEAP! Cool factor is that you can copy & delete from BOTH USB and SDHC "without a computer" making clean up a breeze! Just keep in mind you might have to convert the 10 to 20 percent of the non-compatible formats every blue moon. Would recommend for the traveller and the kids DVD monitor in the back seat of the family vehicle! |
Great little media player for AVIs, and extremely portable (it can fit in your pocket). The only downside to it is the remote: it's smaller than a smartphone and it took about a week for it to vanish in my house. Fortunately, my universal remote supported it (a low end Logitech Harmony) otherwise I would've had myself a fancy paperweight: there are NO controls on the unit itself. It doesn't support MP4 or MKV files, but for $20 I really can't complain.
