Functions fine. Would get their stuff once more. It had a random, intermittent energy-cycling difficulty when I very first got it. It took a although to diagnose because it often wouldn't come about for a week. I RMA'd to Enermax and they replaced it. Only downside to the RMA approach was that their assistance webpage was down and I couldn't see the status of my RMA. Even though it's typical in the market, I wanted to mention that Enermax has you spend for RMA shipping to their location and charges a non-refundable fee for cross-ship/advance RMA (ฤ I believe). So I had to pay ป (PSUs are heavy) and had to wait two weeks even even though they just sent me a brand-new PSU in a retail box anyway. |

It's an Enermax.. I'd examine it to a luxury car or truck brand (for these of you who aren't familiar with Enermax), but cars aren't this trusted :PExtremely quiet, effective, high quality components/construction, and even looks incredible (IMO). For some reason there doesn't look to be a single US retailer who sells the 600w modular version. Have heard some complaints about the cables getting too quick. Even in my complete size 700D (Corsair) case, I haven't had any difficulties with that.I have a 7 year old 470w Enermax and it's nonetheless operating robust.. and in all probability will for one more 10 years, if I let it. |

Enermax kinda underrates their supplies and I respect them a lot for that. This line is their current king series. have absolutely no method behavior oddities even when switching on a DVD-ROM on a booted technique. Not modular... Not a biggie. the 700w version in their next step up is, however, at a considerable chunk of cheddar. But other than that I can't find fault with this unit. Last Enermax 430w I had ) in a Dual Athlon XP2000 program ran for the seven years I used it. AFAIK it's nonetheless in use by the guy I sold that program to. Running a Geforce 560ti w/ Phenom II X4 940. Could have gotten by on the 500w version but when I get an Enermax I know I'll use it for years. |
* Wicked quiet. Silent Computer Critique reviewed the tiny brother of it and rated it as such. * Comes with more than sufficient ports in decently sensible places. * In case you have a issue with cables coming drop (I don't) there's a fancy little bracket that grabs your energy cord. * Fantastic specs -- doesn't waste energy, doesn't get items hot, very good regulation. * In all probability won't cool a case that otherwise has fans. The fan is there to cool the PSU. I've got other fans in sensible areas. * Oversized for a "normal" Pc (Defined as a single with a single decent graphics card, a quick modern day CPU, a handful of challenging drives, etc). But I didn't want to go through the trouble of hunting down its 500W brother that doesn't look to be sold by any of the popular US merchants. I may be alone in getting annoyed by this. :D
