ENERMAX UC-8EB Case Fan
Comment:
Dead silent. 1 of those "I had to put my hand in front of it to see if it was spinning" deals. A very good amount of air for the lack of sound it generates. I have frustratingly sensitive hearing and these fans don't bother me near as much as the sound of the AC coming through the ductwork. Undoubtedly less than my coworker's tuneless whistling :) . Cost with volume offers is seriously low for what you get. Just get four+ - if you're making 1 personal computer, you know you'll be constructing an additional at some point and can use these. I won't know when they stop operating because they're so quiet? Makes the rest of my laptop appear louder? I have a microATX Coolermaster case with a CoolerMaster 120mm fan in front and two of these in back and factors stay decently cool.

I have a complete tower with four case fans that applied to sound like a jet engine when running. I replaced three of the fans with these enermax and my 120mm with the Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E. The results had been beyond incredible. I am unable to tell my personal computer is even on now. I have them running to a fan controller and even at 100% they are silent. none Like other people have said, silence is a compromise. You will definitely lose some volume of air moved, but I have identified them to nevertheless move plenty of air. Following 2 hours or so of gaming my graphics card was nevertheless at a cool 43C. I will, and have suggested these to everyone that will listen.

Quiet no rattling which is just what I want in my rig. Blades have sharp points. Be careful when you remove them to clean. Virtually cut my finger open with that. Blades also are a small tough to get out which doesn't assist either. Quiet and simple what additional could you ask.

Purchased two of these last week to replace the two stock fans in wifes noisy/loud computer case. Lowered the noise level about a 1000% What a big distinction in the noise level. (Next, the power supply have to go) Not actually a con but it doesn't push a lot of air. Excellent for wifes/daughters pc which only gets about 2 hours of normal use every day. I don't feel I would advise these for a high efficiency gaming rig where cooling is a priority Quietest 80mm case fan I have ever owned and the cost here at New Egg was the lowest I could uncover.

Its was the 1st laptop or computer I built, but I expected a lot. These fans are good, I used it to move air out of dead zones, like under my optical drives, to make positive there had been no pockets of warm air.Silent, move air, fan none if COD BLOPS is so bad, why do individuals play it so much? Its a lesson for life.

Reliable, Quiet, Nicely-Produced.I've used these in each the 120mm version and the 80mm versions. They don't have LEDs, which to me is a plus since I don't want my computers to be distracting (or goofy). Don't use these if you're looking for high airflow. They seem to collect far less dust than other fans, particularly some orange-blade 80mm Thermaltakes I had. I would by no means obtain the Thermaltakes again - not so a great deal mainly because they collect dust as for the truth the blades are quite brittle and snap if your finger or a stray wire touches it even for an instant. The blades on the Enermax are clear resin and are quite robust.

These things are quiet and just as uncomplicated to clean as they promise. I was fairly impressed. None I started just replacing a dying fan with 1 of these and ended up buying them for all the desktops in my house. They truly are amazing. The description doesn't make it clear, but you just pull the fan blade out the intake side of the fan and it comes correct out. It feels weird coming out - like it's not meant to - but it comes straight out. There will be a small oil on the shaft, it looks like plain mineral oil. So if you rinse or wash the blade you may want to put a TINY quantity back on the shaft.

good air flow at full speed wasn't quiet at all at full speed, possibly louder than my original 1 I had in. I jimmy rigged the spare connector it comes with to operate at 7v and it decreased the noise considerably. Nonetheless sufficient airflow to keep my temps exactly where I require them. Therefor I'll still give it 4 eggs. To find out how to do this go to google and sort "fan 12v 7v" and a website known as silentpc will come up with full info on how to make the connector.

This fan is so silent it scares me. It moves a lot of air and if named on can run up to a high flow, although at the price of noise of course.Great value. The magnets are not nicely shielded and this can affect the fan if you mount it flush against some thing metal. It seemed that putting the static back face of the fan against the metal case of the computer enclosure had a higher effect on the fan, so use as an intake fan is almost certainly preferable. Fans are inexpensive and lemons abound. Obtain much more than 1 in case you get 1 that is noisy or doesn't work appropriate.

Really. You wouldn't even think that the fans are spinning. Good good quality construction. Cleanable (you can take the fan off and clean it). Quiet!! I use to have traditional bearings...and it made my personal computer sound like a vacuum. Put two 120mm in and my computer was close to silent. I couldn't believe it. They move air too...a lot...as I have to open my case and blow out the dust just about every month. No problems with cooling at all. None Just purchase it...it will spoil you forever.

Fairly and affordable. none I got two of these for my case to improve the airflow inside the case. With 1 in the front and the other in the rear, I have been able to lower the CPU fan speed. The result is a program that is quieter than my external tough drives.I am not overclocking anything, and heat was not an issue.

They are quiet, Incredibly quiet. They move a LOT of air contemplating how little and quiet they are. Outer plastic is a little brittle. For the cost & their low db i am not taking off an egg. I ordered 4 of these for an older coolermaster case i have (and nonetheless really like). They all work, but 1 of them came with a corner broke off. Due to the fact they aren't going to take off flying i just utilized 3 screws and every thing is fine, Be cautious when putting in the screws, don't push to tough or you could crack or break off the corners.

Silence at final! At full speed 񢃀 RPM in my setup when I disabled fan speed control), they make a small bit of noise, but are quieter than the fans that came with my Silverstone HTPC case. Nonetheless, at 1100 RPM (which is exactly where they run in my construct at full load for an hour), they make no audible sound whatsoever. The adapter could be beneficial to some people. I just plugged them directly into the 3-pin headers on my motherboard. None. I just ordered two much more for an additional project.

Simple to install and a lot of cord length. didn't noticiable lower noise as expected I replaced three 80mm 5 year old fans hoping that these decrease the noise. It seems just as loud as before. If there is ever a option betwen 120 and 80 generally go with the 120mm.

Extremely QUIET!!! nice searching fan, and almost totally silent cant feel any actual air coming off of it. to make matters worse, its a 2 pin installation so i cant use speedfan to see if its running at full speed. as long as it doesnt overheat, ill be pleased, but i would have preferred more airflow. my 92mm fan at 20% has far more airflow than this 1 at supposedly 100%
