EVGA GeForce 9800 GT HDMI 512-P3-N987-TR Video Card
Cons:
- None so far
Pros: - Good power for its price- Quiet (compared to the former card) Comment:
Old EVGA 7600GT died (capacitors exploded one by one). I decided to take a second chance with EVGA and purchased this. For under $100, this is quite the bargain. The comparable GTS 240/250 costs more and doesn't have much benefit over this babe. |

Buy bundle and save
Comment:
I bought this card with GT220 (1GB DDR2). Regret to see offer bundle with GT220 (1GB DDR3) which cost $5 more. Anyway the perofrmance and price ratio is good enough for me (not a gamer). Using this brand since 7 series version and happy with it. Not a problem even my motherboard is for Crossfire coz I don't plan to do dual card. Randeon card is expensive compare with similiar performance (this card cost me about $65). Unless you do havey gaming you won't see the 512MB and 1GB memory different. |

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT HDMI 512-P3-N987-TR Video Card
Cons:
None for this price.
Pros: Great value to performance ratio. Instant improvement over any onboard video, in fact, by a large margin. Will play most new games smoothly in medium detail and resolution. Can't complain at sale prices. Comment:
Replaced a 8600GT. 3DMark Vantage GPU score improved by 3 folds. Perfect for casual gamers. Hard core gamers must look elsewhere. |

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT HDMI 512-P3-N987-TR Video Card
Cons:getting old.
Pros:Reliable card. Comment:
I have owned this card for quite some time now, and it still manages to play current games with more than acceptable framerates at a resolution of 1680x1050. It plays bioshock 2 at the highest settings without ever lagging. Overall it is a great card if you have a hard time spending your hard earned money on computer hardware...that money is better spent on engine upgrades ;) |
good powerful card with great value if on discount and has MIR. Other than that, look for something else. Will take off the original fan and ziptie a 92mm on it. Should lower sound significantly
