Great Card!
Comment:
I used this card for my recent build and it has worked flawlessly for over a month now. Great for surfing the web and word processing. Runs really cool and with the fan on 40 percent I can't hear it over the nearly silent case fans! |

Not Impressed
Comment:
I bought this card a couple weeks ago and have had it installed with my new mb and cpu. I run my computers on 1080p. When my computer was assembled and running I was having issues with my video. The video looks bad and not like the res that I have it set for. When set on 1080p it runs off the screen on sides and top bottom. I tried resolving this issue with drivers and support and could not find any solutions. I installed my old 9600 gso and it worked like a charm. Best of luck to anybody else who purchases this card. I was not impressed and it will just be collecting dust for me. |

EVGA GeForce GT 240 512-P3-1241-LR Video Card
Cons:
Does not fully work with current Nvidia 195.62 WHQL drivers,or Windows 7 default drivers.
Pros: Quiet fan, single slot, low power card HDMI "with" sound support Comment:
Unfortunately for me I use an LG 24" monitor with an EDID issue and am currently seeking a solution myself without tech support to make video + sound work on Windows 7.Until I find suitable support myself and EVGA has Nvidia drivers support sound on this card it will remain in it's box. |
I bought this because I don't game alot and want a energy-efficient replacement to my dated 8600GT. It's a nice upgrade as it's quite a bit faster and runs cooler and quieter. Run SC2 at 1680x1050 at medium fine.
