EVGA GeForce GTS 250 01G-P3-1145-TR Video Card
Cons:
- Fan noise
Pros: - Nvidia- Price Comment:
I have 4 other fans in my case and this video card makes more noise than all of them, so don't purchase this if you want to have a silent computer. Otherwise, it performs as expected. |

Dual EVGA GeForce GTS 250 Video Cards
Comment:
EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB DDR3, HDMI & VGAWell, I ordered 2 of these for SLI(ing)and received them at my door in 2 days. These cards are hot out of the box. Peple who whine about large cards....go buy a laptop and shut up. I am running everything maxxed out. Windows 7 assessed my graphics as a 7.4. No problems at all. Ive been shopping with this site forever. |
I bought this card just before the GTS450 was lauched and, at the time, this was a very good price/performance ratio. Now, unless on sale, the GTS450 is a better option at the same price. The card offers decent performance and will smoothly run any game you want, for as long are you don't know at the highest resolution possible. One negative point is that the fan speed isn't variable and thus stays at 100%. This made it a relatively noisy card since you will clearly hear the fan even if the card is mostly idling.
