EVGA GeForce GTX 260 SSC PCI Express 2.0 Display Card
Cons:High pitch whine when being fully utilized.
Pros:Great for high res. games.Good overclockability.Folding PPD Beast.Surprisingly decent temps with stock cooling. Comment:
Got this during an awesome sale for two hundred, upgraded from a Radeon 3870 and haven't looked back since. I actually don't play too many games that require enthusiast level cards, but I do FoldingyHome so this is awesome with 180.60 (or higher) drivers on Win-XP cause due to CUDA optimizations, the GPU client only uses |

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 SSC PCI Express 2.0 Display Card
Cons:not that much of a performance increase over my 8800gt sli setuplarge
Pros:reasonably powerfulthe pretty SSC sticker =Pprice Comment:
i upgraded to this from my 8800gt sli setup. For 200 bucks, i just HAD to have this card =Pi just swapped it into my rig, and just played some good old Company of heroes. Performance is practically the same. With the exception of the welcome absence of microstuttering and other SLI-related issues. |

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 SSC PCI Express 2.0 Display Card
Cons:2 x 6-pin power connectors with minimum 500W PSU. I had to use 2 molex connections to make the 2nd 6-pin for PSU on my 550W OCZ PSU.Shipping did take a little long for an in stock item. 2 business days of inaction -> checking "product availability" - the site shows over 30 available. Funny, that took me less than 5 clicks to find the product availability... anyways...
Pros:Good Price/Performance Comment:
Good Price/Performance for card. Plays anything on 1280x1024 max settings - even crysis. Time to own some newbs on COD4 :) |
