EVGA GeForce GTX 275 017-P3-1175-AR Video Card
Cons:large size
Pros:dual output Comment:
i bought this hoping to have a dual monitor system. unfortunately, the large size of this video card pushes up against my fan and makes a horrible vibration sound. Can't put it anywhere else because it'll affect my HDD connectors. RMA for a smaller video card. |
Replaced a 2.5 yr old 8800 Ultra that died with this card and although the Ultra was great while it lasted this card is even better and at half the cost of what I paid for the Ultra when it was new. This card fit fine in my Antec P182 case....yes these cards are big but so are all of the higher end cards. If its too tight for your case maybe its time for a new case. Ain't the cards problem. You want the performance... make room for it.Hook up was easy, just click into the MB PCI-E slot, couple of screws to tighten the connector end to the case, couple of 6 pin power connectors and your away. Don't bother using the disk provided....just go to the nVidia web site to DL the lastest drivers.Have only had this card for a few weeks now but its flawless at this point. NCIX moved this out real quick when I ordered it. Thx
