Got this card from Newegg last week. It's Quick. Makes my other geforce card and my ati card seem to be from a different era in comparison. It does run hot... seriously hot, when under 100% load. Due to the fact my supermicro motherboard locations the pcie x16 slots close with each other, I had to order a pci slot cooler to decrease the heat which radiates off the cowling run running under load. The EVGA utility software program actually aids - it makes it possible for you to set the fan speed of the card to decide on cool or quiet. It also allows you to load the software program with windows to computer software handle the fan so you can set fan speed based on temperature of the card. Ultimately, it allows you to adjust the clockrate so you can either overclock further or underclock to "normal" speed for this card. |

Much better than the 8600 I was upgrading. Decent price tag. Not the best nvidia and evga can put out, this card really should have been about one more ฤ-40 off. |

I'm sure this card runs other games wonderfully. This card runs quieter than my final setup and appears to run my America's Army three game at greater graphics settings with far better FPS...nevertheless... I "upgraded" to be able to play Battlefield Terrible Co. 2 at larger graphics settings than I did ahead of and get greater FPS. I am decreased to running the game on low settings nevertheless and actually get WORSE FPS than I did before. I am a clan leader with many members who know additional than I concerning these Techie problems and they inform me this dilemma is known to the BFBC2 neighborhood and we are awaiting a repair :( I guess I will just pull this card out and go back to my other setup. I certainly didn't need to spend funds to be worse off...lesson discovered. |

Simple to install and about 25% shorter than my dual gtx 8800's that came in my old dell xps 710 custom make. Freed up about 3 inches of space for better air flow. So far not stressed, runs quite cool compared to the dual gtx's, and is much quieter. Am going to buy an additional for sli, even even though graphics are fine with just a single.I like NVIDIA merchandise due to the fact they don't have the driver issues which typically plagued my ATI graphics cards. Will anxiety card and update overview. None so far. Newegg had the prodct at my door in three days. Whoever packaged the evga box place it on leading of the paper so that the video card pressed up against the box with all the paper behind it. You consider a person would have put the packing behind and in front of the box. Anyway, it arrived fine. |

All of it! Newegg's price and rebates and the card's functionality! I am fully pleased.--Huge card but an simple set up. No fret with Windows 7 House.--Out of the box it runs all heavy hitting games without having a sweat: 1680x1050; all high settings: BFBC2..COD Black Ops....Mafia II. The list goes on and on. None. With hesitation I upgraded my Nvidia 9600GT 鹀MB). Hesitated due to the fact my 9600 ran just fine; struggled at instances but sufficed. I genuinely needed a big bang for the buck upgrade and this card did the trick. Have self-confidence: This card will manage anything you run on it! |

CheapRight after Mafia 2 and JC2, I paid about 贘:赪 cash minus ฮ MIR, ฮ Mafia II, ฤ JC2No complaints whatsoever at this price tag point.Relatively quick card, clocks decently, is reasonably cool and fairly quiet at medium fan speed, at additional than percent it gets fairly loud. Well, it does not unlock, shipped with 8 memory chips, I was also unable to do the typical shader unlock. Voltage limitation is 1.087V, which can be changed by way of a BIOS flash, but I have not completed so, and hence cannot confirm, on the other hand it seems like these cards have more headroom.Don't purchase the SC version unless it is the very same price tag or much less than the standard version~ the cards are not seriously binned, so there is proficiently no difference, and you can accomplish the difference ྯ mhz!!!) in clock speed by setting a single slider. Exactly what I expected.Overclock.net for the win :) |

This card tends to make my games look slick! I play Valve shooters mainly and this card has stellar performance. The drivers installed via Windows update with no challenge whatsoever. Runs incredibly hot. Be positive to offer adequate airflow. This monster of a card is also massive! It barely fit in my machine and it covers a single of my PCI slots. Not a major deal truly. I have not tested it on anything too demanding nevertheless, mainly because I have not seen any new games worth acquiring, but I'm sure it will perform just fine when I do. |

Excellent card for the funds, I will say it is by far hands down the ideal that you will be in a position to get for about 150 dollars (not to mention you get a absolutely free game with it). Card is fairly quiet compared to the two 9400GT's I was operating ahead of this.I am now able to go back and run games like crysis on max settings with AA as nicely as Mafia II which I just downloaded. The frame rates are wonderful and the lag I used to expertise at reduce resolutions is gone. size could be an issue if you are operating a tiny situation but it was no concern for me. I upgraded from 2 9800 GT's (also by EVGA). My existing setup ismobo: Asus m3n72dCPU: AMD Phenom x4 9950 black edition.memory: 6gb ddr2hd: 10k raptor driveps: 680watts. |

This thing is really rapidly Runs most of my games like Counter Strike, Starcraft two and WoW on full settings like Contemporary Warfare two at higher fps with almost everything ultra. Only playing WoW it drops to 30s from time to time in crowded areas but thats gonna happen with any card i'd say. The EVGA precision factor is awesome I was capable to OC the card quickly and it runs cool on idle. Focus!! This card does get hot so when you are playing games like mafia two and some heavy initially particular person shooters and u OC ed it more than it was clocked currently u may need to have to set ur Fan up to 75% ish so that the gpu keeps it about 70 C beneath load. Mine went up to 80s couple of instances because I forgot to enhance it. Works like a champ cant wait to get one more 1! |

Modest compared to my prior sli cards, so I guess that is a pro for extra space. The card was uncomplicated to set up and no issues with drivers (unlike some of my ATI cards). Card runs quiet and cool, but I have not really stressed it however. Will have to examine fans below full load. None yet. Will tension card later this week and update if any challenges. Arrived pretty quickly, but UPS left it on the methods of my front door. I am glad the neighborhood children are pretty truthful close to here considering that I arrived house late. |

Every thing I read mentioned the EVGA GTX 465 could not be flashed to a GTX 470. Effectively they had been wrong. 40 ROPs, 448 shaders, 320bit memory bus, 1280 MB of DDR5. Life is amazing with this card for about a 贄 less! Yes these do have the 10 memory chips, and not the eight. None so far! Works wonderful as a GTX 470 I'm ordering yet another! |

-Raised my 3dmark Vantage score by a small more than 3500 points, from my top rated ATI 4850 benchmark. The PhysX assistance assisted a TON! -Starcraft 2 no longer crashes consistently!!!! In fact, I ultimately played for 5 hours strong, final night, with no so considerably as a hiccup!-I'm folding@home like a mad man! On my 4850, I was lucky to get 1 function unit a day carried out. Now, I'm finding a operate unit performed in about 3-5 hours!!-Exceptional, easy to use overclocking computer software-3D vision pro support-No cost Mafia two! - Not free- I didn't order a second one particular to SLI :) I purchased this to replace the squealing fan in my Visiontek 4850. Proper now, it's at present running on an old Athlon x2 4400, but I will be developing a new Phenom x6 rig, soon, and this is what's going in it. I have no regrets going back to Nvidia. My 4850 crashed constantly, the drivers were awful, and lastly the fan just finally crapped out. The ATI card and drivers felt cheap. In the past, Nvidia has by no means done me incorrect, so coming back wasn't a challenging choice. As cliche as it sounds... My old 939 rig "plays Crisis" - and it plays pretty nicely with all settings to high. |

Wonderful cards, got them off a steal for 赨/each. Games like TF2, SC2, and so forth. only hit at most 40% of the core (SLI).These are quiet cards, fan's don't actually go above 60% at any provided time. EVGA's Precision utility tends to make OC straightforward. I'm at 750 core mem, that's about a 20% OC from stock devoid of needing to tweak any voltages. With two of these in the construct, it renders games with no any hiccup.EVGA contains lifetime warranty like their early-upgrade capability. These cards run hot, specially in SLI configuration. Idle is about 70CነC (on the two cards), though load brings them to about 82CኬC.Power hungry cards, from what I can inform, they consume about 150W per card 鳴W to be protected). They call for two PCIe power connectors each, which pushed me to obtain a new power provide.Value, they are about 趚 a card, you can get the 5850s for a tiny bit additional, with less energy consumption and a lot less heat. However, for 赨 a card, it sealed the deal for me. Appropriate case ventilation is crucial for these cards, I had to give these two its own 120mm fan in order to drop the temps by 12C. IMO, closed case cooling is not the way to go. The fan is not exactly where the core is positioned, make certain you're not covering it with yet another PCI card of PCI fan (whoops)...I did all my testing with the ambient in my space at about 34C (which is quite hot). |

Much better than my 9600 GT! EVGA has good computer software to help with overclocking and monitoring. Card is really massive, barely fits in my mid-size ATX case. Not really a con although... I believe I might go with EVGA considering that BFG went out of company, looked at quite a few vendors and I think I like them out of the rest. |

Superior performance than my old 9800GT (when my process wasn't locking up) Brought on my process to randomly lockup, right after attempting my card in three different systems with the similar outcomes, it had to be RMA'd.EVGA wasn't willing to accommodate a slightly modified 'Step Up' request for a dissatisfied client with a undesirable card and several previous headaches from performing my due diligence ahead of sending my card back. Yes, rebates are an adjustment to the fair market worth of a item. This card runs like a champ. Have two in SLi and dont go above 70CናC respectively. They run a little hot, but that's nearly to be expected of these cards. Make certain you have the airflow/liquid cooling to accommodate or you'll burn them out. Sounds like a jet engine in my room with all of the fans on full, but if you don't thoughts the noise it's certainly a non-problem. Apart from, that's what headsets are for, right? |

This tiny beauty runs each and every game I have on Max settings with out any issue, Also AA is on highest setting and it runs quite cool with 38C idle and running games about 62C. I upgraded from a 9800 GTX+ and my frame rates went from 29 FPS to 44 FPS so the games had been operating smoother for confident. It is a bit shorter than my 9800 so that is one more plus. The graphics had been far more defined and shadows and textures were noticably greater. DirectX11 an additional plus. None so far. |

Currently posted Already posted -My GTX 465 does in fact have 10 memory modules. I can not confirm that it'll unlock absolutely as I haven't tried but I'm confident it would.-The stock heatsink on this card is terrible, even though at 100% fan speed it will hold the card, under max anxiety (stock clocks) at 65 C with 25 C ambient temps. Nevertheless, when I removed the heatsink to examine for all 10 memory modules, I noticed that the speak to between the GPU and the heatsink is basically five heatpipes flattened out, with aluminum barriers in in between. Now, the contact in between the flat sides of each heatpipe and the GPU is decent, but there is a considerable gap of 1-two mm in among each heatpipe where no contact would be created with out a deep channel of thermal compound which reduces thermal conductivity amongst these sections dramatically. If aftermarket heatsinks weren't so extremely costly, there would be a definite worth in replacing the stock heatsinks on temperatures. On the other hand, as I mentioned, temps are entirely bearable at stock |
great card. do heavy gaming-nps. none so far have had it for a couple of months.
