EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: HotLoudPower hungryPRICE

Pros: Fast, raw powerSexy lookingLots of memory
Comment:
We all know it by now.. The card is a powerhouse, but it's pure raw power, very low efficiency. It's also quite pricey, but that's to be expected. The truth is, the card is designed to run hot though, so it's not really an issue. If power consumption isn't an issue to you, it's still a good card. The 500 series has been much improved in the heat and power department, but don't underestimate the 480.

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: None

Pros: Runs anything on 1920x1200 resolution
Comment:
Jumped from a 5850 to the 480. I have an Antec 900 case with stock fans. My 480 idles at 40c and hits low 90s when using Furmark's xtreme burning mode to test. Normal gaming with Mafia II sits in the 80c range. My 5850 idled at 38c and Mafia II had it in the low 70c range. I worried and worried about heat when switching and as usual, the reports are way overblown. The 480 and 5850 stock fans are equal in noise so why is it always mentioned for the 480 but never the 5850?

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: My GTX295 will beat it in overall performance.

Pros: DirectX 11, Shreds all games on my i7-930 machine, quieter than my GTX295 CO-OP. Oh ya, did I mention it is NVIDIA!
Comment:
If looking for a very good gaming card, this is the one. If you already have a GTX295, keep it, it is faster!

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: - Noise- Heat-Price

Pros: - Crazy fast- Easy to overclock- Almost "free" AA
Comment:
The fastest single GPU available, with great AA performance. If you can live with the added noise (not that bad) and heat, you’ll love it. This would work best in a well-ventilated case, or using water-cooling. EVGA offers great support, and a limited lifetime warranty.

Cons: as most already know it can get a little toasty

Pros: have yet to find a game that this thing cant beat
Comment:
I just replaced 3 BFG 250s with 3 of these and it was like going from 0 to 600mph in no time flat one of the best looking well built cards I have ever seen you can tell that Nvidia put a lot of extra effort into these bad boys

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: It's hot and takes more power than ATI cards. But that doesn't really matter that much anyway. You don't spend $600 on a video card and power it on a 500W power supply.

Pros: Fastest single GPU on the market, and is a tessellation king.

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: This card runs hot.It can also get noisy.

Pros: Handles Metro 2033 at 1920x1080 without issueWindows 7 easily boots twice as fast for meExtremely quiet at idle
Comment:
I waited over half a year for this video card and its finally here. I went from a 9600GSO to this.. To so say I am happy with my purchase would be the understatement of the year. If your looking for the most bang for your buck. Do not look here. If you want the bleeding edge in performance then look no further. Be ready though. Power supply and air flow should be major considerations in your build. You wont be disappointed.

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: Fan can be noisy when pushed to extremes.

Pros: Maxes out every game with 32x anti aliasing. *drool*
Comment:
This card is insanely powerful at high resolutions and will redefine your idea of an enjoyable gaming experience. Maxes out Crysis: Warhead k 1680x1050 with 16xQ anti aliasing with all the quality settings set to max (enthusiast). Slices through the gameplay like butter. Im sure this beast could do 32xAA if the game supported it.

Cons: High power consumption? Fan is a bit loud

Pros: Super fast. Absolutely no slowdowns in any of the games I play.
Comment:
Everyone is saying this runs hot. Downloaded EVGA precision, set the fan at 70%, and it idles at 42C, after a few hours of playing mass effect 2 the highest it got was 73C.

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: Need to give this card a little breathing room inside of a case if you want to keep this card running a little cooler.

Pros: This card is ridiculously fast, I can't throw anything at it to slow it down
Comment:
Man this card is awesome, I've never been happier with a purchase like this in years.I initially had some temperature concerns surrounding this card and after further testing and after removing the 9800GTX+ that I had planned to use as a physX card since this was installed in a corsair 800D it did make things rather stuffy inside of the case as well as the fact that it wasn't doing anything that I could notice.*** WARNING ***Don't try this unless you're 100% comfortable with taking apart your video card. After reading through some of the members posts on the EVGA forums I decided to change out the thermal compound on the card with MX-3 to see how my temps would improve and I did notice a nice 6 degree drop  in temperatures to a nice idle temp of 58 degrees and now my top gaming temps are 90 degrees, So YMMV depending on whether you wish to do this or not.

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 015-P3-1480-AR Video Card
Cons: Upfront and honestly, it gets hot. Need good airflow in case. Power draw is a bit on the high side but not major.

Pros: Fast, very fast! I play FPS / RTS / RPG all my games I can max out at high res and enjoy excellent frame rates. I would consider Size of card and Price strengths. Same length as a gtx 285 fixs in most cases. Priced excellently, nice inbetween competitors 2 top end cards. Tessellation, this card is made for it, can be seen in all benchmarks using this.
Comment:
Chews up everything thrown at it. I manually set my card fan to 70% I can not hear this in my case over background noise. It defaults at 44% so you definately want to bump that up. Overclocks nicely too. With right airflow in your case the card is a winner
