EVGA GeForce GTX 770 1046MHZ 4GB GDDR5 256BIT 7010MHZ DUAL-LINK DVI-I HDMI DP SLI Graphics Card
Cons:- No cool looking LEDs (because of ACX cooling)
Pros:- Excellent Cooling- Shadowplay compatible |
Purchased this card as an upgrade to my AMD Radeon HD 5870; and while the difference in performance was staggering (as expected). Despite the performance increase, I don't think I'll be going back to AMD GPUs any time soon due to the management software. I had a very bad experience with the Catalyst Suite (eg. drivers not loading properly on boot up, black lines across screen for first 10 minutes after each boot, volume OSD overlay not appearing all the time in Win 8, etc). On the other hand, the GeForce Experience suite was easy to use, I don't have any driver problems (I know it's only been a week), and the optimization for supported games comes in handy when I don't feel like messing around with settings. The ACX cooling is a must if you're paranoid about your card running hot under full load. Currently, I'm running ~23C idle and ~70C heavy. I got the 4GB GDDR5 version since I intend on going multi-display in the future and read this might help (not sure if true or not).
