EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1 80PLUS Gold Power Supplier
Cons:-Noisy fan(loudest component in my case) makes a flicking noise if you listen carefully
Pros:-Nice package all around (cables, finishing, packaging)-Fully Modular-Quality PSU Comment:
Performance wise, unit is solid. No power issues with any of my components. Cables are long enough for routing behind motherboard tray (ATX build).RMA'd the first unit because of annoying fan noise. Second one I got made the exact same noise but I'm able to live with it so I kept the unit. |
Very nice PSU for the money. What I really love about the G(gold) series is their modular cables. I own a 850 G2 and this just lacks the primo paint job. But given the price point, its a great PSU. I would go as far as saying its easily one of the best budget PSU's around, bar none. EVGA has always been great with rebates too. I don't think its Haswell approved, but for an AMD Athlon X4 860K HD7970 build, its perfect!
