after adding a core i7 to my tri-fire( 5970+5870) i discovered a single 655/ek top was not enough for 4 water blocks and 2 rads (2 triples) , so i added this top with a extra 655 pump and my cpu (4.5 ghz) load temps dropped by 6-7 c and the 5970/5870 dropped a little less , so it was well worth it , + redundancy is a good idea
