I purchased 4 of these for my 4 way crossfire setup, still waiting on bits power crystal link tubes to use them but I did try one on air with a fan blowing and it game 30 degrees and 56 on load which is better than stock with no liquids LoL the stock 6970 reference have a huge problem when I took them apart I noticed the copper base of the vapor chamber is not flat at all it is wavy so it explains the heat problems with the reference design of the 6970's I contacted ATI about it and did not get a valid reply back only to say to use after market coolers LOL so try and stay away from reference and get the non reference if you do not plan to swap coolers. Overall great product and quality and can't wait to use them in 4 way crossfire when my crossfire links come in!!!!!!
