When you change modes the unit resets its IP address to the default, this is very aggravating. Supplied instructions are not very informative. The unit comes set up as a client bridge by default but can be used as an access point, repeater, bridge and even a router. This was purchase to replace a Cisco WAP4410N as Cisco has failed to fix the problems in client bridge mode. So far this unit seems to be quick and reliable.

COREY Rating: Review Date: 01/31/10	Professional Performer Comment: I was one of the first people to get one of these things on here last year and had to return mine because it died. These things are 100% not meant for outdoor use... and before you think the obvious... no... I did not mount it anywhere that the elements could get to it. I mounted under my back porch awning... way under! But as near as I could tell the dew must have collected on it and killed it. So if you are going to use outdoors then use a concealer made for protecting indoor equipment outdoors. I love the repeater function and have since bought another.

James Rating: Review Date: 01/15/10	Amazing for the cost, Comment: I picked on eof these to run in a University Cafe and was Blown away with all the Features. We first extended a barley visiable signal and boosted to 100% then we set it up as a stand alone Hotspot. Buying another one today!!!
mestasjim Rating: Review Date: 09/21/09	Perfect for Client Wireless Router to Main Router Comment: I have seached all over the place for a router that would allow me to connect my Slingbox, Playstation from my living room to my offices via WIFI. This router enabled me to do just that. The only thing it lacks is more ports to connect multple devices, I had to use a spare netgear switch. Overall a great product and suited my needs.
