EnGenius ENH200 Business Class Long Range Wireless-N Outdoor Client Access Point - 150Mbps, 2.4GHz, Wireless-N, WPA/WPA2 encryption, MAC address filter
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Easy setup, powerful, well made, inexpensive. Comment:
Using 2 of these to bridge 250m between a house and shop. Provides a very stable connection and the first unit, set up as an access point, provides full wifi coverage across the yard. |

EnGenius ENH200 Business Class Long Range Wireless-N Outdoor Client Access Point - 150Mbps, 2.4GHz, Wireless-N, WPA/WPA2 encryption, MAC address filter
Cons:Amazing range encrypt!!!!
Pros:Amazing range encrypt!!!! Comment:
Currently using this as an access point in a very large shop for work and I am very impressed with its performance. Currently can cover almost 80 000 square feet with a perfect signal ( I know it seems crazy but it is a steel building) Just remember to encrypt the snot out of it to keep the wrong people out. |
Well, although this unit works flawless when setup as an access point I'll point out that the ENH202 is out now. If you really have to have this unit then fine as it works great and replaced my EOC2611P which also was running fine. I just wanted a faster N network, purchased the 200 and realized to late that yea...202 was better.Irregardless it took a whole 25 minutes to rip open the box, configure and mount outside. Network is internally quicker a I'm seeing 65 to 100mbps connection rather the 54megs of the previous 2611.The unit claims to have less power than my 2611 our the newer 202 however on my farm I still see full bars out on the perimeter. So unless they mean over 1km distances then fine.
