Inexpensive and Works
Comment:
I bought the router and a few adapters, set everything up with the software and it was as easy as that. I'm very satisfied with the quality and performance of this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who's wanting a wireless connection at an inexpensive price. |

Excellent Value & Easy Setup
Comment:
I received my adapter before the wireless router (also EnGenius arrived) and setup an ad hoc connection. Windows 7 found the adapter right after I connected to a usb port. After that it was just a matter of using Windows 7 Network and Sharing Center to setup the connection. Of course, once the router arrived, it was a snap to setup the network, since Windows 7 had no problems finding the adapter and router. To setup a network using a router, plug in the wireless adapter and then follow the instructions for setting up the router. Easy installation, use, and price makes each EnGenius product an excellent value |

inexpensive
Comment:
This adapter set up easily. If all you need is to get online and surf, its great. It has less range and strength than my laptops internal wireless card that quit on me. I geuss I'll need to get a N router now. I dont know why but this adapter keeps losing the internet, and I have to reconnect. |

Nearly flawless so far!
Comment:
Worked out of the box with Windows 7 (32-bit). Contacted tech support for help making it work with Windows Server 2008. The tech was extremely helpful and helped me identify the chipset in the product and the chipset manufacturer's website, where I found the appropriate driver for Server 2008. I love it! (Glad I bought two, one I leave at home and one to travel when I go to fix other people's computer problems). |

Works great
Comment:
Better range that my laptop, works great with windows network manager (no other wifi controllers necessary), and its as fast as my router can handle. Couldn't ask for much more. |

EnGenius EUB-9703 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter
Cons:-Signal is generally weaker with this product than on my Thinkpad R61's built in wifi, more dependant on distance from router and direction of the dongle.
Pros:-Inexpensive-Compact-Works with older USB 1.1 hardware (important for older machines lacking USB 2.0 support) Comment:
A good choice for adding wireless N network to an older computer, particularly a laptop. Signal good be a little more consistent, but is acceptable. |
A simple way to add wireless to a device that doesn't have it. Works fine but I expected better performance from a stand-alone external device. A crummy Dell laptop I have gets better performance from it's built-in wireless. The software that is bundled with it is very nice, however. It's polished and useful.
