Energy 12 Gauge Speaker Cable W/ Banana Plugs 7.5M

I got two rolls of this wire when it was on sale, thinking the banana plugs would make connections a snap. They ended up causing me more grief than they're worth as the plugs on BOTH runs ripped right off when I tried to pull them to reconnect (switched left/right speakers by accident).Pulling the rubber cover off the plugs showed that they had not been tightened properly and were way too loose to allow even a little force to be applied to the wire without them giving. I would have expected the plugs to have been attached in a more robust fashion. On the plus side, they did include two extra sets of banana plugs in the event you want to split the wire into two runs.

Comment:
The 12 gauge wire makes this suitable to drive higher power speakers. Luckily for me, 7.5m was long enough for the longest run that I had. Would be nice if this was offered in other colors (white or grey insulator instead of clear).Price is comparable to buying banana plugs and getting the speaker wire for free.

J'ai profité de ce super prix pour upgrader mes câbles d'haut-parleurs. La constrution est très bonne et le câble assez flexible. À 9.994 c'est une super bonne affaire puisque que c'est le prix qu'on payé généralement seulement pour les 8 fiches banane qui sont incluses. Même à 30$ c'est un bon prix pour cet ensemble de câble si on compare avec la concurence.

Really makes a difference in high end audio setups. Having good wire is essential and this stuff does extremely well at its job.

High-Quality Wiring "Does" make a difference when listening to Music and/or Video . Installation was a breeze , what with the gold-plated banana plugs and flexibility of the thick 12guage copper-nickle(oxygen-free) cables .And Yes , I actually did notice the difference in sound output and sound quality . No more "Dips" in sound and slight distortion when cranking up the volume . My crappy lamp-cord speaker wires went straight into the recycle bin . Great product ! Would buy again !
