Enermax ERV950EWT REVOLUTION85+ 950W ATX12V 24PIN & PCI-E Ready Power Supply
Cons:Too quietI can now hear everything else in my pc. Hard drives spinning up, video card fan, dvd burner... its driving me nuts lol
Pros:Extremely quiet, lots of cables, long cable length Comment:
Excellent power supply. I was amazed at how quiet it is. In fact i thought it wasnt working at 1st. Cable length is very good. I have a p182 case as had more then enough length on the cables to reach behind the mb and to the top of the case and then some. The power cables were a little stiff, but i found that to be a bonus as i could bend them the way i wanted and the just plug them in place. Comes with lots of extra cables as well. The power supply is finished in a nice dark grey powdercoating. I thought at 1st it was a little pricy, but now that its in and running i feel it was worth it. It really shows how much of a POS my old ocz powersupply was. Buy this powersupply.... stay away from ocz crap. |

Enermax ERV950EWT REVOLUTION85+ 950W ATX12V 24PIN & PCI-E Ready Power Supply
Cons:None at the moment
Pros:-Very efficient-Top quality-Way ahead of other brands in term of feature and future proofing. Comment:
One of the best advanced power supply money can buy. The build quality is incredible, 85+ efficiency, status led, a fan that keep spinning after shutdown to cool the components, 100% sleeved wires and a lot of other nice features. Rails 4,5,6 are very well distributed into the modular connectors so you can carefully distribute the amps the way you want. I would recommend the revolution 85+ to anyone looking for quality and stability for their multi gpucore i7 build in either 850,950,1050,1250 watt flavour. |
I had an Antec case with built-in 550W power supply that just wasn't cutting it for my system .. my video would blank out periodically and I suspected the power. 5V and 12V rails on the Antec were also reporting low-ish. So I bought a new power supply, one I knew I could build my next system around. Wasn't disappointed. This is a great piece of power engineering. 5V and 12V now in great shape, video no longer blanks out... this did the job.
