I had to return with PSU because it was, sadly, incompatible with my Gigabyte EX-58 motherboard. The reason is that, with boards that boot slowly like the Gigabyte and the EVGA Classified, the PSU interprets this as a problem and enters surge protection. While this shows that your components will certainly be very safe with this power supply, sadly, it means you will have to look around to make sure this PSU is compatible with your hardware. Testing it on my old rig showed absolutely great quality, clean power and great, silent design, but the fact it can't run with everything removes quite a few points in my book.
