This is heavy, pure copper. I'm not sure how great the cooling performance is but it sure looks much better than bare chips.The mounting mechanism clips onto the back side of the memory, which could cause the heatsink to tilt in an angle that makes the contact with the chip uneven. But still the thermo pads act as a cushion so the contact is secure.
