Unlike some of the inks from other manufacturers, Epsons durabrite inks do seem to make a difference in the longetivity of the prints. However, don't forget that the paper used is also important! For comparison, I have some Canon prints and some Epson prints on the same paper (Ilford Galerie), both under the same conditions, and the Epson prints haven't faded at all.
