A one TB drive, that was easy to add and configure to our windows server. we use one for daily and one weekly system backups. Very sweet and affordable.

Installation was a breeze (I still managed to screw it up, but no harm done), easy to format and to get started transferring files onto it, quiet, an excellent product. The only thing I'll say against it is it has a very bright blue power/activity indicator light that can't be turned off. No big deal for me, just means I have to face it backwards, which is probably better anyway to keep the dust out of the open port on the back, keep the on/off switch (excellent feature, by the way) within easy reach. Definitely worth the purchase

Very good performance & quality. Very quiet. The only annoying factor is the"bright" blue light. Stays cool & nice on/off switch on the back.

So far so good! I've had it a month. UBS transfer isn't so quick, i really need a SATA cable.

Drive is quiet (no fan), runs cool, and works great with eSata or USB. I would like to have seen an eSata cable.

Works great, I just had to buy a esata cable ( Cables To Go 3-Foot external-Serial-ATA II Cable )and now I have a 1TB expander on my PVR.

Sold unit. Quiet and setup was easy. Pluses include a on/off switch on the back. Only negative is the pilot light is a bright blue which should be a little dimmer.

Very fast with esata. I use it to copy 10GB tv recordings. 1st unit was defective, but quickly replaced.

I bought this to store photos on to free up the internal hard drive. Installation was a breeze and retrieval is quick. I use it between a desktop and a laptop.

Ive had it almost a month and use it every day, everything you would expect. I havn't used the esata though just the USB port.

I bought the Green version first and its quiet and has a dim green light and works well. This unit makes noise when it's recording (not too loud) and has a bright blue light that lights up a darken room. It works well. I would buy the green model instead.

... and then some ! Huge drive, on 24/7 for 4 or 5 days at a time never got hot just lukewarm. Not the fastest but it does well what it's supposed to do. I've had it for over a month it's quiet and looks good.

I haven't had any problems with it yet but won't be able to really say that it's "the best" external drive I've had until it holds up for four years. Give the amount of storage though I plan on buying about six more over a period of time.

Works well, 3 weeks after bought it. Very quiet, beautiful blue light during the writing on the hard drive, great write/read speed in eSATA (up to 75mo/s = 600MB/s), and normal speed in USB2 (35mo/s). Very satisfied

Drive seems to work well after about a month of use. Plug and play right away. I use it for additional ''memory'' in order to be able to record more shows and movies on my Cable TV DVR (like ''TIVO''), into which I have plugged-in the drive with the included USB cable. The Unit does, however, have an extremely bright blue light (indicating power is on), so if you intend to use the drive with your DVR or otherwise have it placed in a dark room, be aware that this little blue power light throws off an unusually large amount of light that gives the whole room a strong blue hue at night. That also means you cannot place the Unit beneath or near a TV facing the people viewing the TV, because if you did, the blue light is like a little ''laser pointer'' shooting light at your eyes. Strange, but true.

I use 2 programs to back up files. Windows One Care Live & Retrospect. Drive was easy to set up and my files backed up without incident. No problems so far. Excellent capacity.

I am waiting for my grandson to return from his job in Silicon Valley for the fourth of July. I told him about this item and said it was a very good buy.
