I have played the original Far Cry on the pc a number of times - it was a great game. Far Cry 2 (set in Africa) was a major disappointment by comparison - getting around on the map took forever and you were always getting attached by the bad guys. Far Cry 3 represents the best of both worlds - you have an open map but can take over territories so that you don't have to constantly worry about being attacked by ememies, although you do need to be constantly worried about getting attacked by the wildlife! It's a blast to be swimming along in a river and then suddenly find yourself in hand-to-tooth combat with a croc. This is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone. |
