I picked up my keyboard before NCIX started selling them. After doing quite a bit of research and using my friends keyboards I decided on cherry reds or browns. Blacks were took too much effort to push and blues are supposed to be the loudest. At the time nobody was selling reds (linear, easiest to press) because they were 'limited edition' so I went with browns and I don't regret it.I know there are cheaper mx cherry mechanical keyboard options out there(Leopold) but Filco is still an easy brand to go with.I've also picked up a few custom key caps here and there (Hello TeamLiquid) and just by using the key cap removal tool and being careful(spacebar/shift/enter,capslock) it's been a breeze changing the look of it. |
great keyboard for daily using, but 87 keys is not convince.
