Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Cons:-Air flow-Price
Pros:-Professional styling, I LIKE-Lean design-Modular HD cages-Comes with good fans!-Black and white constrast! Comment:
Great case! I was looking for a case that looks sleek and somewhat modular to accommodate watercooling (looking forward to installing one!) and this knocks it out of the park! The removable HD cage can make it possible to insert a 280mm radiator on the front while just moving the lower cage slightly back to the bottom fan mount. Air flow is a bit limited but I don't mind the few higher degrees for better sound dampening. For now I have a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X with an i7-4970k with a CM Hyper Evo cooler and run around 76C, 60C respectively under load (have add a few exhaust fans on top (AF-120) |

Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Cons:could use more room at the top of the case for the radiator
Pros:slick, aesthetic, versatile - this can fit pretty much anything, even a dual 12mm radiator front or top. Comment:
This is a great case, there's a lot of room and the hard drive bays are removable. The bottom bay can be pushed back, allowing a 120mm or 140mm dual radiator to fit in. However, there's not nearly as much space at top. If your motherboard has a high heat sink above the CPU socket, you have to push the radiator out towards the side panel a little, and it's not pretty. This may also block the top grommets that some cables go through such as the 6-pin/8-pin power connector at top left of the motherboard. This will be a very tight fit even if you don't have a problem with the motherboard. One last thought, I'm not really a big fan of the side panel even though it may look appealing to some gamers who want to show off their hardware because this case is made to be silent with the dampen materials, and having a window just kills the whole purpose of that. With that said, it's still a nice option to have.1 star off for the tight fit for the radiator top. |

Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Cons:Receive the first one with shipping damage......packaging is not as good as previous version. But NCIX support team resolve the issue in the best manner...as usual !
Pros:So far i had the R2, the R3 and now the R4 and the changes they made are really interesting. More space to work inside, better cooling. Comment:
I was not impress with the "improvement" form the R2 to R3, more a running change, but the R4 is a lot easier to work inside the case and cable management is easier.I'm not sure i like the change with the front grill that cover the air filter, time will tell, but it look fragile |

Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Cons:tight frontal headphone jacks
Pros:Extremely quiet, looks great and good space for cable management. Comment:
Upgraded to this case from Antec 900. Everything works perfectly. Routing the cables was like a breeze. My only complaint is that the frontal headphone jacks are just a bit tight. I am using Steelseries Siberia V2 and the headphone and mic jack always pop up after insert. I hope it will get better after several weeks of use. Overall, good case for the price(got it for 79.99 on sale). I would recommend it to everyone. |

Fractal Design Define R4 with Window Titanium Grey Silent ATX Mid Tower Case
Cons:could still use more cable routing holes, like below the motherboard. plastic front panel feel significantly cheaper than the rest of the case. no easy way to pick it up, as you can't put even slight pressure on the front without it popping off.
Pros:Beautiful minimalist design, spacious, well ventilated, super quiet, nice routing options, good overall build quality. Comment:
I absolutely love this case and it was a pleasure to work in. Beautiful, minimalist, and super quiet. I knew this was the case i wanted when I read it's reviews and I recommend it to anyone who likes simple case designs. |
The case is everything it's advertised to be. But it took over 5 days just to get it shipped, despite paying a lot extra for "Express" shipping. I'd recommend this case. But I'd advise you to go elsewhere to buy it, if you need in any kind of timely fashion.
