I purchased 5 of these for use in a custom mame arcade cabinet. I'm a little disappointed with the minimal amount of air movement from these fans, but that's what you get with almost silent fans. Overall i'm happy with the purchase.

The rubber fasteners are a good idea, but of the two extra FD fans I bought, one came with 3 of 4 rubber fasteners, and the other fan didn't come with any! That pissed me off, but the two fans weren't be mounted by screws/fasteners anyways.

They run nice and silent, have webbed black sheathing on the wire leads, and are ample in length to reach your mobo.

If you need a lot of air flow I would get something else. I have two of these moving the air threw my case and they do exactly that without making a lot of noise. Great case fan.

Moves good amont of air.Mounting hardware included. Hooks up via 3pin. Comment: Im not running at 1000 rpm, and I dont have to. Im using one as case fan and one as CPU fan, CPU idles at 29 degrees, 600rpm, and load is 45 degrees, at 880rpm. I have never heard any knocking noise that people have heard and or reported hearing. I would buy more, but my case has hit its limit. Amazing deal, so quiet my GPU idling is now the loudest fan in my computer.

Don't know if it is just the one I got or they are all like this.For the life of me, I CANNOT find what bearing type this fan uses! I mounted them horizontally, but am terrified that if these are sleeve fans, a disaster awaits (oil leak onto CPU and stuff). Pros: Looks really great.Moves a decent amount of air considering these run at only 1000 rpm. Includes both rubber fan mounts and black screws. Comment: They are alright, but for the same amount of money, I will probably go with something else next time.And for the love of God Fractal Design, please post the bearing type on your website.

It is barely audible but seeing how my case is almost silent, you can hear something Pros: Relatively Quiet Comment: I was expecting this fan to be almost completely silent seeing how it is at 15 decibels. The ticking noise is quite annoying when running the fans at full speed. But I must say, these are one of the good fans. It is quiet and most power supplies will be louder. I am a picky customer but overall good quality, the sleeving is nice and it works great with my new Fractal Design Define R3

Pretty disappointed with the bearing noise, but NCIX was very helpful with the RMA. Hopefully the next ones will be better.The picture is inaccurate on the 120mm, the rubber fan mounts are the ones used by Gelid. Not the ones Linus unboxed or the ones in the picture. Leads me to question quality control.
