Cons:Not much airflow (but this would be the trade-off for the quietness). No adapters (3-pin to 4-pin peripheral or 5v for noise reduction).
Pros:Quiet. Comes with good mounting accessories (black fan screws and rubber mounts). Sleeved cable. |

I have two of these installed on a Hyper 101, and it works great. I have them both running at 12v and I can't even hear them. They keep my i3 2100 running cool as well, would recommend! |
These things are quiet, without a doubt. Of course, they don't move all that much air, but I think that this fan achieves a decent balance between the two since the fan is nearly silent. Included are some nice mounting accessories: black fan screws as well as rubber mounts for the option of making things even quieter. I'm a not a fan of the aesthetic of these particular rubber mounts, however; they are the type with the extra "nub" sticking out. The high profile of the mounts makes them far from ideal if you wanted to use them for a different fan, like, for example, a side panel mount or top/rear exhaust. Finally, the cable is nicely sleeved in some material that is very tightly woven for a sleek, clean look.I got these on sale for $1.99, so I really can't complain about much.
