Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Quiet Cooling Fan 1000RPM 65.9CFM 19DBA w/ Rubber Fasteners
Cons:Ticking Noise
Pros:QuietPushes a decent amount of air Comment:
These are pretty good case fans, although they shouldn't really be referred to as "silent". They definitely do make some noise. If you get close you can actually hear these guys ticking a bit. They don't push quite as much air and have as high a static air pressure rating as I'd like, but still good. |

Nice quite fan with no issues as of yet. Worth the money. I used it for the back of my entertainment system to keep components cool. It comes with everything you need for mounting and also has a resistor included to slow down the speed. Highly recommended |

Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Quiet Cooling Fan 1000RPM 65.9CFM 19DBA w/ Rubber Fasteners
Cons:Annoying to remove cable from channel
Pros:Great sleeved cables, quiet, capable of running at 5v, 7v 12v Comment:
Theses fans are quiet, stylish and well made. They fit into Fractal's cases really neatly as well (based on a clip system in the front of their cases) which is a great bonus. However, to fit them into those clip slots (not when screwing into side panels) you have to move the cables from a channel in the plastic. Doing so can be a challenge without tearing the cable as this area of it is not sleeved. For 99% of it's usage, this is a non-issue and people with smaller hands may not have an issue. |

Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Quiet Cooling Fan 1000RPM 65.9CFM 19DBA w/ Rubber Fasteners
Cons:Dont use it horizontally, they vibrate much
Pros:Very efficient. Comparable to a 20$ fan, very good air and very low noise Comment:
Got them in my Define R4 case. Those mounted to the front work perfect, but the one I mounted on the bottom vibrates much. I recommend it to anyone looking for great air cooling with low noise, at a cheap price ! |
It's silent if you slow down the RPM, looks nice and moves a decent amount of air. I have it bottom mounted near my PSU as an extra air intake in my Define R4. Cable length is more than enough in my setup and its a nice braided cable.
