Fujitsu Lifebook UH572 Intel I5-3317U 4GB 500GB+32GB SSD 13.3IN BT4.0 Widi HDMI W7HP Ultrabook
Cons:Feels like a fair and balanced laptop for the I price paid.
Pros:Great laptop for the sale price I paid compared to others out there. Comment:
I've had this laptop for a week now. I've been using it for taking notes, browse email, websurfing, and some light gaming - It runs League of Legends at 30 FPS on low-medium settings. The battery has lasted me 3-4 hours of light websurfing and using MS Office programs. The boot time to turn it on from a cold start is about 15-20 seconds which is very useful for me because I'm a student going from class to class very frequently throughout the day.The keyboard is extremely flimsy and noisy when typing - has that cheap "dollarstore" feel to it. Also, the fan can become quite annoying if you are in a quiet room - it will hiss and whine at you every few minutes.Overall, I think it's a great laptop and every dollar was worth spending on this machine. It's very light, compact and responsive which is perfect for a student, minus the keyboard and battery life. |
I've had this Ultrabook for almost a year, so I've really gotten to know its quirks and its positives. It's very thin, but I wouldn't say that it's the lightest Ultrabook out there. The aluminum shell feels pretty good, but the screen still has a fair bit of flex to it. Performance is good and I never have any issues with overheating. It does the job and it looks good doing it. However, it does have its problems. The trackpad can become finicky, not responding to left/right clicks as if the left mouse button is constantly being held down. Battery life could be improved significantly too, as I'm topping out at about 4 hours of regular use. It does discharge really quickly when off too, so you'll probably want to keep it plugged in when you're not using it. Given the price, I can't complain too much.
