I use this pair with my core 2 duo 2.33 ghz machine and it runs Vista very smooth. I wouldn't suggest using vista on anything less than 4 gb, and to this point I'm very happy with this buy. They're on sale again right now and I"m considering filling all my ram banks to give me 8gb total... mmmmm..
