G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Laptop Memory
Cons:Mini Computer Compatibility list INCORRECT
Pros:Cheap / fast Comment:
Some of the mini computers listed as compatible with this SODIMM are actually requiring Low Voltage DDR3 RAM AKA DDR3LThis SODIMM needs 1.5V to operate yet the NUC systems (the ones starting with D340XXXX) need RAM that operates v 1.35Please update your compatibility list! The guy at the sales desk referenced the list to check and CONFIRM that this RAM was indeed compatible!!!! IT IS NOT! |

They took a while to ship, but arrived in good condition, installed exactly as can be expected. The packaging was sufficient, and by bending the plastic underneath they sticks were easy to get out without fear of breaking them.Uh, it's RAM that works, been running for a week now and no issues so far. |

G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Laptop Memory
Cons:-Tight plastic packaging, worried that I might break the stick. However, I think it is for securing the RAM during transport.
Pros:-Not really a pro but WEI for RAM went up from 5.9 (1x4GB stock soldered) to 7.1 with the extra stick from G.Skill-Recognized on first boot with new RAM, no tinkering required-Dirt cheap (thanks to a PM from NCIX itself!)-Haven't used Memtest to test for errors, but seems to be very stable Comment:
Picked up 1 stick during Black Friday sale at another competitor unfortunately. Stuck it into my new Sony SE, maxing out the memory in the process. The memory was recognized on first boot. Notebook feels somewhat more snappier, also relieved the hard drive of some virtual memory usage.8 gigs is somewhat unnecessary since 4 gigs is already enough for the average user, but at the sale price, I bit the bullet. Plus, doing this was much more economical compared from getting 8 gigs with SONY OEM (a $200 upgrade). This review was modfied by poster @ 11-30-11 09:35 PM |

Cons:No problems.
Pros:Ready to use, plug and play. Comment:
I bought 2 of these for my HP G62-208CA laptop. No problems whatsoever, just plug it in boot up and you're good to go.I changed from 3GB to 8GB and to take advantage of the memory boost I recommend disabling windows page file system so you'll be running everything off the memory. This way you save harddrive space and things load much faster. |

This is a great module; no problems at all. |
Bought this to increase RAM in an Acer laptop. Was a bit faster than what the laptop needed but it worked anyway with mismatch speed. No particular drop in performance noted (the extra 2GB RAM isn't needed that much in the laptop except when using a photo processor). So quick to install for an Acer, inexpensive and reliable so far
